Brisby is 100% my little sweetheart and truly one of the gentlest souls in our pack. She has always had what we lovingly call an “old soul”—sweet, thoughtful, affectionate, and perfectly content simply being near the people she loves. She has such a calm and tender nature, and there is something incredibly special about the quiet companionship she brings to our family. Brisby is definitely a people-oriented girl. While she enjoys spending time with the rest of the pack, she would almost always choose a cozy spot beside her humans—especially if there is a conversation happening! We joke that Brisby loves to sit with us and “hear the gossip.”

With her incredibly expressive face and attentive personality, sometimes it really does seem like she understands every word! She also has a wonderful mind and a natural desire to please. Brisby is intelligent, attentive, and a very quick learner. She enjoys working with us and has a lovely way of staying connected to her people, always watching and waiting to see what we might do next. Her expressions are one of our favorite things about her—you never have to wonder too hard about what Brisby is thinking because it is usually written all over her face!

For Brisby, the best part of playing has always been the time spent together. Above all else, Brisby is a true snuggle bug. She loves being close and is happiest when she can settle in right beside her people. If she isn’t with the other dogs, chances are you’ll find her curled up underneath your chair, tucked behind you, or quietly resting at your feet. She has mastered the art of always being nearby without ever needing to be the center of attention.

Brisby’s gentle temperament, intelligence, affectionate nature, and devotion to her people make her such a treasured part of our family and our pack. She is soft, sweet, and wonderfully endearing—a beautiful example of the kind of temperament we value so deeply. We feel incredibly fortunate to call this special girl ours. ❤️
